Touch Sensor IC FAQ
Q1: Is there any requirement for the material of the container shell for liquid level detection?
A: There is a requirement, it must be non-metallic material, otherwise it will affect the work of the chip.
Q2: Can the container shell to be tested be curved?
o
A: Yes, you can use a flexible PCB or an external inductin PAD from the induction pin to stick to the container wall.
Q3: When the liquid level is detected, what is the reason why the module can't sense it or output a signal as soon as it is powered on?
A: If no water is sensed or a low level is output as soon as the power is turned on, the chip may not be sensitive enough and the chip is too sensitive. Capacitance of 3-pin and 4-pin (CSEN, CR) can be debugged according to more than a dozen products.
Q4: What is the maximum thickness of liquid level detection?
A: This is determined according to your actual material. At the same time, the induction thickness can be changed by adjusting the size of the capacitor.
Q5: Is there any requirement for the size of the sensing pad of the chip?
A: There are no specific requirements based on the actual situation. The larger the sensing pad, the better, with high sensitivity and strong anti-interference. Usually do 1.5CM * 1.5CM or 2CM * 2CM.
Q6: How to make the sensing distance larger when doing human body sensing?
A: When doing human body sensing, connect the external sensing cable from the CX end. Wrap it into a zigzag shape, making the winding as dense as possible.
Q7: Is there a requirement for the distance between the chip's sensing pads?
A: Leave a minimum of 5mm between the two sensing pads. Leave a minimum of 1.5mm between the sensing pad and the ground.
